  • After the sudden and unexpected passing of my mother. I initially went to a different funeral home and within the first 5 minutes as I was crying uncontrollably, they immediately opened a pamphlet showing the costs, fees and what package I could choose based on my budget. It rubbed me the wrong way and I was appalled. At Anderson, it was completely different. The care and sympathy I received from every person from beginning to end made it an easy choice. I had to plan my young mothers funeral at 23 years old. I felt absolutely lost and overwhelmed with never losing anyone before and concerned about how to plan it by myself. I never thought I'd have such a wonderful experience at a funeral home. Amee (funeral director) was caring, genuine and patient throughout the whole process. She took all of my wishes and details and made it happen better than I could've ever imagined.. Leaving me to grieve and not worry about all of the planning of the service. Not only do they care about providing a nice service, they offer a no cost grieving group session. I'd give a thousand stars and thanks for how they provided me with a lovely service that exemplified my mother in a beautiful way.

  • John McQueen was compassionate and supportive through the unexpected death of my brother. Anderson-McQueen also handled the cremation for both my parents, and now brother, all within a three year time period. Randi Sue, of Anderson-McQueen, guided me each step-of-the-way in all. Her constant attention to phone calls and email constantly helped me in this difficult time. Words can't begin to explain my appreciation to John, his wife Nikki, Randi Sue, and the entire AndersonMcQueen staff.

  • After the unexpected loss of my beloved brother Anderson-McQueen was right along side us just like family, from the day of the loss to current they maintain contact. Michael Shorter was my brothers Funeral Director and Amee Bonham also assisted Michael to make my brothers service a memorable service. I feel as though all the staff at Anderson-McQueen took care of my brother as if he were one of their own. The facility was exceptional and the care was paramount. I had the GREAT pleasure of meeting with Nikki McQueen after my brothers service and was touch by how humble and kind she is. Nobody likes to talk about death but when death is the subject consider Anderson-McQueen! They are the most wonderful people that will leave you with an everlasting great impression. Thank you Anderson-McQueen for leaving that everlasting impression in my heart. Posted in Loving Memory of MJW.
