  Central Christian Church is an awesome place for worship and to make friends. The teachings are right out of the bible. Pastor Rich is very funny and the church staff are available and friendly. Central is definitely a place worth trying if you are looking for a great place to worship and grow. It's a great place for families and single people.

  I moved to St Pete 4 years ago and just couldn't find a church where I "fit in." I tried mega churches and even though I served as a greeter and on the drama team, I wasn't making any relationships with the people who were there. Then I found Central Christian Church! I have been going now about a year and a half. They are a warm church with preaching that is sound and from the bible. And I attend Sunday school class taught by Dick and Sue Ann Hunter and not only do I get biblical teaching in a smaller group setting but I have made some friendships that will last a lifetime. I am blessed to be a part of CCC.

  Not too big, not too small, just right! Central is a great place for anyone looking for a great mid-sized church. There are plenty of ways to get involved and meet people: Sunday Schools, Small Groups, Mid-week Bible Studies, Women's & Men's Ministries, Book Club, etc. They have a coffee bar and wide halls with sofas to sit and chat too. Yet it's small enough so you don't feel lost in a crowd.
  
  The Bible-based, sound doctrine preaching is challenging and encouraging too.
  
  The music is just right also. We sing great contemporary songs every Sunday, but they throw in a hymn every once in a while.
  
  One other thing I love about Central is the variety of ages of everyone here. It's not a "young person's church" or an "old person's church." I benefit greatly from being involved with all ages.
  
  If you're looking for a church home, be sure give Central a try!

  Central Christian Church in St. Petersburg, FL is a very friendly and loving church. People are doing the work of God here and sharing the love of Jesus. There are many opportunities to get involved, such as the children's ministry or youth ministry. I have helped in the children's ministry and it is a very loving and safe environment. The children learn about Jesus and how His love applies to their lives and the world around them. The worship service is casual, yet powerful, in that the music, communion and teaching will make you feel the presence of God and give you strength to make it through the week to come.

  There are all kinds of people at Central some like me and others who are not like me, but we all love each other. When we first attended we felt welcomed at Central. There are many opportunities to be involved and feel a part of what Church is all about (people). The Bible is taught and each person in leadership shows by example what it means to “Love God and Love Others”.
  
  Children and youth are very much a part of our church all kinds of activities throughout the year great staff that make it fun to learn about Christ.
  
  Being a member here is not just our name on the books, we are part of the family that cares and loves us.
  
  Come and see, I think you will love it here.
